Hello, My name is IFailStuff and i have written a little report on Ebay’s security and how they handle their security and how they could improve it, as to this date(30/08/2010, 1:33 PM) they have several vulnerabilities that are defined as critical.
Google launched the ability to make voice calls to any traditional phone number from a Gmail account Wednesday August 25th 2010. It’s a blend of Gmail and Google Voice technology that allows users to dial numbers from their computers as well as receive incoming calls through one’s Google Voice number.
Calls to the U.S. and Canada will be free for at least the rest of the year and calls to other countries will be billed at our very low rates. For some countries like France, Germany, China, Japan—and many more countries—the rate is as little as $0.02 per minute.
Dialing a phone number works just like a normal phone. Just click “Call phone” at the top of your chat list and dial a number or enter a contact’s name.
Apple has fixed a vulnerability that allowed iOS to be hacked. This buffer overflow vulnerability that first came public about 3 weeks ago allowed attackers to run malicious code remotely by making unsuspecting users to open a PDF with a payload. This was one of 13 vulnerabilities patched at the time.

It seems that domains from “Network Solutions” that said they were “Under Construction” were to install malware on a computer who visits that page. Security experts say that it was targeting computers from Taiwan and Honk Kong who use using IE6 (lame) and WindowsXP systems for some reason. Users who matches this gets a fake massage of some sort and gets redirected to some website and it is still unclear what does happen next.
