Have to say that a malware that hides in the battery is the most promising thing with this, the only way they could get rid of it is if they switch batteries, even if they reinstall the entire OS.
Thats freaking awesome and who would ever buy a new battery because they got a virus

I just read this somewhere else but I didn't think that it could be used to blow up the battery. I bet that would cause some serious damage with that aluminum case.

I read somewhere that there is going to be a presentation about this, from the same guy how discovered the fail, lol. Looking forward to that.

I think that what ever causes this may have a simple fix, but that is just an assumption, I really don't know must about it.
