After reading what xzid said, it brought back good memories to my mind about how years ago the rules on EvilZone weren't so tight.

Ah the sweet surprise i rememeber when suddenly seeing goatse image on a normal discussion topic. I freaked out a bit but i loved it.

The fights, the trolls, and all other funny shit people used to post was just awesome.

Why am I posting this? It's not because i hate the current forum. Everything is okay except the parts where such stuff gets you banned and how the FUS board is moderated (e.g.: You can't embed images or videos, just links). IMO, if people don't want seeing that shit then they should either don't open the thread or just stop complaining and GTFO, the pictures and videos are showing real life. EvilZone can still have it's normal side. Like programming, discussing technology, etc..

Trust me, EvilZone will be a much better place with all these stuff brought back.

'sup mods? its valafar here, you may remember me from the old EZ as D1G1T4LM4N_616, anyway, i remember on the old ez when we could troll/post anything, and the FUS board was unmoderated [or nothing was deleted anyway] and, now, look. @evilhacker: do you really think admins will consider that? I wasn't at EZ at the time when this took place, but thinking about it now is just lame... we are a community of "Computer people", that is interested in "Computer stuff" and so far I think EZ is doing a really good job at this, because often people that knows their stuff, or kinda knows their stuff comes here, and not some idiots that just do nothing but troll and talk shit.

No one is stopping you for posting fucked up shit in the board, just keep it as a link - I don't see a problem with that... maybe someone can't tolerate some of the material and only wants to read the comments and not see a giant asshole - did you ever think about that?

For this kind of a forum, it is always Quality over Quantity whether you like it or not. If you want fucked up shit - go to 4chan or find another place but here, that kind of material is not doing any good, just lowers our reputation.

So yeah, I don't speak for everyone but I am against reverting the rules to what it was and turn EZ into shit, yet again. Sorry.

The reason why i only want u to post links is because fucked up board shows up in http://evilzone.org/recent/

and the fus board is unmoderated, we will not ban people or delete anything usual in there.
also, we have not banned a member in a while;)

I think that if we reverted back you would soon tire of it..
We who rolled around on the forums before (what is it? 5 years or something) we have all grown a bit since. Guess most of us are a bit more mature and avoid forums where people troll in every thread

Everyone just shut the fuck up, you have no idea what gets you banned around here. None of you have been banned on the new boards. Ban reasons is things like how2hackFacebook and continous trolling in all and every single post and or comment.

The rules are NOT to strict, if you think so, you have not read them. The rules are as they should be. We have to be able to have discussion here without some ass posting goatse. We got a large spectrum of off-topic boards, and we even got 3 different random boards(random, win, fail).

If you want to troll around you can hang out in the IRC on a dedicated troll channel. Alternatively, we can bring back the #lobby for more off-topic things, incliding trolling and goatse.
