neh, i don't think this idea is any good.
people want ease. if you force them to do something then they will live it at a time.

some people are there who think that what will be there?
but more people are there who want what is there without any work.

so this idea won't help this community

how about we send them a Pm then (Automatic ofcourse)
that says that we want an introduction post + link, and also something a part where you will be linked to http://evilzone.org/news-and-announcements/about-evilzone/
so people that wanted to join can understand what we want

 Ya thats a good one,
After registration, user should get PM immediately before he post any thing.
PM about what shoud he do first, like give one introduction to forum,
and some link of news and announcement as you said.

This would be nice idea.

Well, can't help if someone want to spam board.

But can reduce admins work.

This idea shold be applied friends.

What you think ande?

I don't know how much work would have to to into it, but like mentioned before(at least that's what I got from it) a challenge section. Something like what hackthissite has. Not to reinvent the wheel or anything. But I really like the programming/timed challenges. And since most of the content I see here is code related, everyone would have something to try there hand at. Plus it would be hands on approach to learning.

Just a thought though. Other challenge sites do ok, and no need to do extra work if other priorities fall first. Just suggesting.

Glad to hear that. I'm currently doing both Hackthissite's and Security-Override's. But I would love to take on challenges posted here as well.

We have IRC for that. Shoutboxes are so old and lame tbh.

1- Thanks button
2- Different forum skins
3- Separate OS sections
4- Ebooks section for science in the Encyclopedia Galactica section

* 1 & 2 are more important than 3 & 4

3- Separate OS sections
4- Ebooks section for science in general in the Encyclopedia Galactica section

My vote goes to point 1, 2 and 3. We mostly have books on hacking and programming. I guess we can make sub boards just like Mobile Hacking section. IDK..

You know don't get mad but I hate this stereotype look of forums. I don't have any idea but It annoys me.. Well I'm a n00b right now. So maybe after 3-4 years I'll learn some good stuff and make something up. Evilzone should be little different from others.

Yeah.. ande, I know.. I know.. Content matters. This is just my thought.

I thought the karma option was pretty much the thanks button. It seems a lot of people have problems with the forum layout. I personally like it but that's just me.

I like forum layout. I have always prefered dark themes over light ones. Less eye damage.

Karma is stupid tbh, this is just my opinion ?. you liking the forum layout is not the problem also, we should have different forum skins so users can choose what they prefer. This is my point

How about embedd the IRC chat as a shoutbox ;) I've seen private trackers do this. Its a good way for the mobile users who can't install an IRC client. Also those too lazy to install an IRC client (like myself) might see some more users active in IRC
