My intro
« on: August 18, 2012, 04:18:13 pm »
Hello EvilZone community!

EZ seemed as a genuine place to spend some time, find interesting info, get answers, share knowledge and meet new like minded people - hence I joined.

I like messing around with computers and other tech stuff and get pleasure from making software and hardware do crazy and interesting things it was not designed to do. I like coding (mostly in Python), learning more about networking, tweaking OS'es, and pretty much anything else computer related (as long as it challenges me).

I don't like oysters, escargots, frogs and other weird French foods. I don't like vampire and horror movies. I don't like people who pretend to be what they are not in terms of skills and knowledge (I do feel sorry for them though), who do evil to others without a good reason, and those who lie to me.

Anyway, I am looking forward to learn, explore and create together with you.I will be nice to you, so please be nice to me. ;)

Therefore a crucial step to becoming a better programmer is learning how to avoid getting stuck, to recognize when you’re stuck, and to get unstuck." -Jeff Wofford

Yeah, you'll fit in just fine. Don't forget to share anything interesting you find or learn. Knowing how to code before getting into this kinda stuff is a plus. Just don't let Python be a crutch though, once you are conferrable with Python, move on to another language, something compiled maybe?

Thanks for the welcomes!

techb, I do most coding in Python, but I also do some in C++ which is a compiled language. My first language was Pascal but that was some time ago and I don't remember the syntax anymore.

And what the hell is room 32B?!  :o
