Science / Re: 4=5 Is it true?
« on: October 10, 2012, 03:08:52 am »
Everyone knows that 4 can never be equal to 5, but in this proof you can see it.If you think that there is any mistake you can point out.
Proof:
4=4 (all of us will agree, right?)

now multiply both sides with -5, we get

-20 = -20

or 16-36 = 25-45

by adding 81/4 both sides, we get

16-36+81/4=25-45+81/4

or (4-9/2)x(4-9/2) = (5-9/2)x(5-9/2)

Taking square root both sides, we get

(4-9/2)=(5-9/2)

__> 4=5

Slightly off topic, how has 12.04 worked out for you?
It's perfect.
It is the LTS edition, so it's very stable.
To be honest, Im a unity convert. I couldn't go on without compiz.
So I use unity and compiz, I can't tell you about Gnome...
But the OS is great, I like it, their doing some really nice stuff with Ubuntu.
Apparently, certain web pages can interact with the HUD which is pretty cool, however I havent tried it out yet.

Im on Ubuntu 12.04 and Im using Opera!!!
It is the best web browser I have ever used. I used to use chrome, but I switched to firefox.
I liked firefox but it felt kind of heavy. I don't know how to explain it.
I started to use Opera and it is awesome, it seems "light weight", it looks and feels nice.
I think this browser tops them all but doesn't get enough attention.

I just wanted to add something to the above.
He mentioned prayer. Let me emphasize on prayer. As far as I have studied prayer, I have found that prayer is actually very important.
If you do come to believe in God, then I personally believe that prayer is one of the most important things. Prayer is to remember God, to bow down to him, to admit how mighty God is. It is not necessary to go to a church or mousque to pray.
God tells us over and over again in the Quran and in the other Abrahamic religions to ask him for what we want. To beg him. He says that he is the all merciful and so he repeatedly commands us to ask him for what we want. To beg him.
Many people like to think that "Why does God need us to pray to him if he is so powerful?", for those of you the answer is that "We need God, he does not need us".

Why do you believe in Jesus but not Santa Claus?
^It says it right on the site. I agree.
Look I'm not trying to hate and I'm not trying to tell anyone what to think but stubbornness is continuing to have faith in something that has no logical or factual basis for any of its dogmatic beliefs.

Why does it have to be God and not Allah?
Why does it have to be God and not Jehovah?
Why does it have to be God and not The Great Green Snarlax?

Why is anyone's belief more important than anyone elses? It could be a Goddess it could karma, Krishna, Buddha. The point I'm trying to make is, if we are arguing about the existence of any religious faction we should start with the existence of faith in general, then afterwards we can have a holy war about which faith is the 'only' one. In the meantime, we should just smile and thankful for all the good things and try to exempt all the bad and just move forward in our lives.
First of all Allah, God, Jehova are all one. All Abrahamic religions built on each other. That is why you see a pattern.
The Jews were waiting for the next apostle to come however they did not believe in Jesus even though they saw the miracle in front of their eyes. Then the Jews were waiting in Medina where they say Prophet Mohammad. However they were to stubborn to believe in him because they thought that the prophet would come from one of their own.

I am not going to try to shove religion down anyones throat and I can understand why people get very confused when talking about Krishna. Personally, after reviewing Abrahamic religions. Each Abrahamic religion preaches that their cannot be more than one God. And it makes perfect sense. How can you worship idols made of stone or gold? Abraham showed us how easy it is for an idol to break. How can we worship an idol that we made from our own hands? If there are so many gods than wont they fight? God is all powerful and so it makes perfect sense that we cannot see him! God is so far that we cannot see him yet he is so close that he can hear everything we say : D

Abrahamic religions preach that God is Just, he is fair. They preach that their is only 1 god. Monotheism is really beautiful my friend.

Lastly, I would like to say that I love science. Being religious does not mean being anti science. However, whatever theory you want to use to explain how man was created, I can always say that God did that. ANd truly I see Gods beauty everywhere. I was just studying the human body yesterday and I found it amazing how God has created us. In the Quran God gives amazing examples of what he has done,  he gives example of very simple things, he gives the example of a tree, how it takes water from its roots to it leaves. He talks of animals, and how some animals can eat grass yet they produce milk from their bodies. These things were wonders for Arab society!

I understand that horrible things have been done in the name of religion, but don't let that scare you. Religion is truly beautiful even though it is abused by many.

Dont Hate, but personally I think that you have to be really stubborn not to believe in God.
Jus sayin.

Screw all of that and play Dota2 or LoL or HoN.
It seems to me that Moba games are taking over because they require you to think hard. The better the get, the more strategy you use.

Naturally, Pakistani's are smarter.
As history dictates, India has tried to unsmarten many Pakistanis. They stole a good chunk of smarts when they made East Pakistan split and turn into Bangladesh. They also have infected Pakistani TV's with bollywood so as to make sure that Pakistanis do not have time to study.
Now a days, the U.S. and terrorist organizations are doing the work for India by spreading widespread terror and riots in Pakistan...
Indians are smarter right now...if only Pakistan had a chance.
