[Firefox] Hackbar.

To bring back some of the oldschool but good stuff to the newbies.

It's the good old firefox add-on for easy testing sql-injection, xss, and more front-end security holes.
Also very handy for every day use to navigate easily trough websites.

# The advantages are:
- Even the most complicated urls will be readable
- The focus will stay on the textarea, so after executing the url (Ctrl+Enter) you can just go on typing / testing
- The url in textarea is not affected by redirects.
- I tend to use it as a notepad :)
- Useful tools like on the fly uu/url decoding etc.
- All functions work on the currently selected text.
- MD5/SHA1/SHA256 hashing
- MySQL/MS SQL Server/Oracle shortcuts
- XSS useful functions

This is a good addon. The XSS functions are nice, especially for filter evasion.

Not that I hack with this, but this is very useful to me when I need to find the biggest (integer) variable in an URL.

Hackbar is of great help while performing SQL injection attacks for sure.

I don't know,   chrome for me is just a richer eye experience,  (the whole webkit thing),  but for pure development/security i go for FF.

chrome is faster (uses a lot more memory though because of it's sandboxing -- firefox starts now also with that idea -- flash gonna be in a sandbox)..
firefox is good, but chrome wins for me because it's speed.
that webkit thing is handy yes.. but also for firefox (firebug and such)..


haha maybe when I upgrade my computer I'll go back ff
