fun situation.. I was talking by phone with my friend.. he suddenly:
"Hey! that guy is talking to me. and laughing"


that hacker said like.. I using botnet through proxychain so you didn't find my computer. hmm.. well.. let's see about that :-)
and if it does connect through a proxy, I still have his own IP adres,
because he failed when he talked to us with MSN. fool
He backed down because I mailed him (with my personal facebook) a list with
ALL my findings. grinn..

Last time I checked a web exploit kit, it had linux exploits too.
But yes, it is true, if you have memory smashing protections on, it gets harder for those types of attack.

We are talking about viruses here, not exploits. Viruses don't usually carry a payload.

Oh, I apoligize. I didn't read the whole thread, just last few messages. I assumed you were talking about general infections, so I went to one big attack vector for massive pwning.
